The Grizzly is a 25 ton class vehicle designed by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) to meet the needs of the German Army for peacekeeping missions around the world.

The Grizzly is based on a 6x6 wheeled chassis offering excellent protection against improvised explosive devices (IEDs), mines and direct crew fire. It closes the capability gap between the Dingo 2 10-ton protected transport and the Boxer 30-ton armored vehicle.

The 6x6 armored vehicle Grizzly "AMBULANCE" has a payload of 5 tons and a space of 17 m3 fully equipped, all of which can be transported by the tactical transport aircraft A400M. It has a top speed on road of 90 km and a range of 700 km.

The driver's compartment and crew compartment form an integrated safety cell that offers optimal protection against the effects of IEDs. In addition, KMW has implemented a series of features that protect the crew from injury in a rollover accident.

The space for the ambulance allows for the transport of two seriously injured or four slightly injured people...
