The GEPARD tank, in German called Flakpanzer Gepard, is a German anti-aircraft tank.

It was put into service from 1973 in West Germany to face the risks of attacks by Soviet aircraft. The mechanized part is based on a Leopard 1 tank. Its rate of fire is 550 rounds per minute

Its speed on the road is 65 kms/h and has a range of more than 500 kilometers, knowing that this tank is intended to protect a place more than to move on a battlefield.
Dutch GEPARD tank
Germany withdrew it from service in 2010, as well as other countries that also had them, such as the Netherlands with 95 units, withdrawn in 2006, and Belgium with 55 units, withdrawn in 1994. 
Romanian GEPARD tank
