The TPz FUCHS, which means "Fox" in German, is a 6X6 wheeled armored vehicle, used among other things as a troop transport or armored ambulance was created in 1979 and is still in service in Germany.
It can also be equipped against NBC (Nuclear, Biological and Chemical) risks.
German TPz FUCHS in Afghanistan
Its autonomy is 800 kms for a maximum speed on tarred road of 105 kms/h. Germany deployed it during its presence in Afghanistan in the 2010s.
There are some variants, as here with the Dutch Army, which used it as a means to fight electronic warfare on the battlefield.
Two TPz from the United Arab Emirates
Several countries have them and are still in service: more than 1000 for Germany, more than a hundred for the USA, Saudi Arabia with 36 units, the United Arab Emirates (32), the Netherlands (24), the United Kingdom (11) and Venezuela (10).
