The EBRC JAGUAR purpose is to integrate a support vehicle into combat operations in urban or mountainous areas.
They are produced at NEXTER's Roanne plant, alongside the VBMR Griffon and VBMR-L Serval armored vehicles.

The driver is at the front of the body, in the center. The powertrain is located at the rear. It is armed with three types of weapons:
- a 40mm 40CTC rapid-fire cannon.
- a launcher for two MMP anti-tank missiles
- a 7.62mm remotely-operated turret.
Its 490 hp engine enables it to reach speeds of 90 km/h on the road and 70 km/h off-road, with a range of 800 kilometers. Thanks to a reversing system, it can reverse up a 10% hill at a speed of 25 km/h.
It also boasts a 17-meter turning radius.
70% of equipment is shared with the VBMR Griffon, the successor to the VAB.
