The FV4034 Challenger 2 is a 120mm British battle tank built by BAE Systems and which has been in service since 1998 in the armies of the United Kingdom and OMAN, which owns 38 examples.

More than 400 tanks equipped the British Army. In 2012, 227 were active and the rest were in storage. In 2016, 168 tanks were in service in three armoured regiments of the Royal Armoured Corps. In 1998, the unit price of the Challenger 2 was £2.2 million.

Its armour is composite with reactive armour tiles. These British tanks were deployed in KOSOVO and IRAQ. It can travel 450 kilometres on road or 250 kilometres off-road. It can be fitted with two additional tanks, giving it an extra 70 kilometres of off-road range.
