The T-72 is a Russian battle tank originally designed to simplify the T-64. More than 25,000 were produced between 1973 and 1990 and used in 40 countries.

T72 URAL

From 1973 to 1978, the model was named T-72 Ural.

T-72 A

From 1979, it became the T-72A. Improvements were made on the new models with thick turret and armor.

T-72 A M

In 1985, the new T-72B model produced was improved with a new gun, a new turret, as well as a new engine.

The T72 B3 is a renovated T72 B. In 2011, 850 examples were delivered to the Russian Army between 2012 and 2021. These are modifications and improvements on the armor, the gun sight and thermal camera.
