MERKAVA Mk 3
The MERKAVA Mk3 is an Israeli battle tank, the third in the MERKAVA tank series. It has no components in common with the two previous versions.

It was designed in 1985 and produced from 1989. 780 units were built for the Israeli Army. It is equipped with a 120mm smoothbore gun and can carry up to 48 shells on board. It is also equipped with a heavy machine gun and a 60 mm commando mortar with a capacity of 30 shells.

The MERKAVA Mk3 has a range of 500 kilometers and a road speed of 60 km/h. There are 4 crew members: a tank commander, a driver, a turret operator and a gunner.)

Thee MERKAVA Mk4 is the fourth and last of the MERKAVA Battle Tank Series. This tank is also of Israeli construction like the MERKAVA Mk3.
MERKAVA Mk 4
The MERKAVA Mk. 4 was unveiled in 2002. The first one was delivered in 2003. It was in the summer of 2006 that its baptism of fire took place during the Second Lebanon War.

More than 400 MERKAVA Mk.4 are in service with the Israeli Army. More are on order. It is equipped with a 120mm smoothbore gun and can carry up to 48 shells on board. It is also equipped with a heavy machine gun and a 60mm commando mortar with a capacity of 30 rounds.
