Two operators can load the 30 shells.
The maximum range of the gun is 30 km around with conventional L15A2 standard shells, about 35 km with base bleed rounds, and at least 40 km with assisted projectiles . In April 2006, an assisted shell, fired by a PzH 2000, reached a distance of 56 km.
It is cheaper than the PzH 2000 because of its wheeled chassis and also exists on an 8-wheel IVECO chassis.
Its maximum speed on the road is 100 kilometers/hour and it has a range of 1,000 kilometers.
Its turret is mobile on 360°.
As for the firing, the system is fully automated: its loading system and its artillery system.
